One prayer, One person, One minute, 1 o’clock EVERYDAY

This is our prayer commitment leading to Easter Sunday, April 24.

One simple, one-minute prayer for one person at one o’clock everyday, that he or she will come to our Easter Sunday service.  ”This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:3-4)

Save the Date: Saturday, April 30

The church will be having a carwash/lemonade stand and most likely a yard sale here at the church. This event will benefit various church ministries. Please sign up to help. See Manny Quintans for more information.

Special Box for Offerings

In addition to your weekly (or bi-weekly or monthly) tithes, we now have a special box available for additional offerings to help the needy. Money collected will be given to a charity at the end of each quarter. For more information, please see Robert Serna.

Discipleship Groups Are Essential to Your Growth as a Christian

The way you are now is not the way God intends you to be, and the “D-groups” are the Biblical way He has given us to all grow in the image of Jesus, AND to help us tell others about Him so we can make more disciples. If you have not attended your D-group, or have not attended consistently, please start doing so. If you are not in a D-group, please see Pastor Ed or Pastor Alan to get plugged into one.

Youth and Young Adult Ministry Fundraiser

If you have a $1 that you can spare, why not use it to purchase a candy bar from the Youth and Young Adult Ministry? Or, why not check out a box and sell the candy at your workplace? The money raised will go toward helping to pay for ministries activities such as Regeneration 2011. For more information, see Alexei Agdigos.

What If there Was Social Networking Back in the Day?

December 18th, 2010

From IgniterMedia.com: “This video is an artistic take on how the story of the nativity might have read had a social network existed at the time of Jesus’s birth. Follow this historical period as it unfolds as a digital narrative. This vignette is great for highlighting the truths and circumstances of our Savior’s birth in a fresh, unique way.”
